Best things to do - Rhodes

If you visit Rhodes in the summer, you should visit the “old town” with the big castle in the centre of the town. “Old town” is an historical place with many archaeological spots like the “Palace of magister”.

You should also walk near the old town of Rhodes and admire the Venetian Port which is build in an Italian architectonic style.

Feel free to visit “Kallithea Springs” in Kallithea with amazing view and sea.

Other great historical spots in Rhodes are “Monolithos” (a big castle with historical identity) and “Lindos” (an amazing traditional village with beaches and small alleys around), which are about 50 kilometres from the city of Rhodes.

If you are a sea lover, you should go to Tsampika beach, Traounou beach, Antony Quin and Lardos to enjoy the amazing sea!

If you like the adventure, you should definitely go to the “Butterfly Valley” to see thousand of butterflies resting on the trees. Also, “Farma of Rhodes” (Farm) is a nice destination for all the family, to meet few animals and especially ostrich.

Rhodian food is delicious! You should taste Pitaroudia, ntolmadakia, roditiki ladopita and of course, melekounia!
